Powering the 2026 Honda Odyssey is a 3.5-liter V-6 engine producing 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Performance figures and drivetrain configuration carry over from 2025, delivering confident acceleration and smooth highway driving — especially helpful when merging or passing with a full cabin.

The Odyssey remains capable of towing up to 4,500 pounds when properly equipped and continues to offer an EPA-estimated 19 MPG city / 28 MPG highway, making it one of the more efficient V-6 minivans in its class.

Style and Technology

The exterior design of the 2026 Odyssey continues with the familiar low step-in height and streamlined minivan profile, prioritizing accessibility and ease of loading. Wheel sizes remain 18 or 19 inches depending on trim, and a power tailgate is standard across the lineup, just as in the prior model year.

Inside, the Odyssey remains exceptionally flexible with seating for up to eight passengers on all trims. Features such as the Magic Slide second-row seats and One-Motion 60/40 split third-row Magic Seat allow the cabin to adapt easily to passengers, cargo, or a mix of both.

Cargo capacity figures also carry over from 2025, offering:

• 86.6 cu-ft with the third row folded
• Up to 140.7 cu-ft with second and third rows stowed

Technology remains a strong point. The 9-inch color touchscreen continues as standard, with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®, and available satellite navigation. Trim Levels

The 2026 Honda Odyssey lineup continues with four trims, following the removal of the EX trim in the prior model year.

• EX-L: The entry point to the Odyssey lineup, the EX-L rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and includes leather-trimmed seating, heated front seats, power-adjustable front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, and the full suite of Odyssey standard features.
• Sport-L: Building on the EX-L, the Sport-L adds a more aggressive appearance with 19-inch gloss-black alloy wheels, gloss-black exterior trim, red ambient interior lighting, and additional USB-C charging ports for rear passengers.
• Touring: The Touring trim introduces premium family technology, including CabinWatch®, the Advanced Rear Entertainment System, and additional third-row USB-C charging. CabinTalk® functionality expands to allow communication with rear passengers wearing headphones.
• Elite: At the top of the lineup, the Elite trim adds 19-inch machine-finished alloy wheels, a hands-free power tailgate, and a 500-watt premium audio system with 11 speakers. Interior upgrades include a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats, elevating comfort for both driver and passengers.
